GENERAL POLICIES

1. General Conditions

  • Reception: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.Check-in: 2:00 p.m.

  • Check-out: 11:00 a.m.

  • Some cabins do not allow the installation of extra beds.

  • Free Wi-Fi available in common areas.

  • Complimentary parking, no reservation required.

  • Pets are not allowed, as they may disturb the natural environment and wildlife.

  • Smoking is prohibited throughout the lodge, including outdoor areas such as gardens and parking lots.

  • Guests must respect the 8:00 p.m closing time to ensure the peace of other guests and local wildlife.

  • Flash photography is prohibited in certain areas to protect wildlife.

  • Complimentary luggage storage service available.

2. Children Policy

  • Free accommodation for up to 2 children aged 0–5, sharing existing beds.
     

  • Children aged 6–11 pay 50% of the official rate.
     

  • Quetzal Tour: Children up to 11 years old pay 50% of the official price when accompanied by an adult.
     

  • Note: Tours are not recommended for children under 8 years old.

3. Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellation, the following charges will apply according to the scheduled arrival date:

 

  • More than 90 days before arrival: No charge.
     

  • Between 90 and 45 days before arrival: 30% of the total amount.
     

  • Between 45 and 15 days before arrival: 75% of the total amount.
     

  • Less than 15 days before arrival: 100% of the total amount.

4. No-Show Policy

If the guest does not arrive on the scheduled date without prior notice,
a 100% charge of the total reservation will apply.

5. Data Privacy and Protection

Personal data provided by clients will be stored in our database and used exclusively for service delivery and communications related to Paraíso Quetzal Lodge.
 

  • We do not share information with third parties for commercial purposes.
     

  • Clients may request the modification or deletion of their personal data at any time.

6. Transportation

If a guest does not have their own transportation and wishes to hire a service, we can connect them with a driver or company holding the necessary permits and insurance.
 

Note: Paraíso Quetzal Lodge is not responsible for the hiring or
performance of third-party transportation services.

7. Legal Notice

By making a reservation, the guest accepts the terms and conditions described in this policy.
Paraíso Quetzal Lodge reserves the right of admission and the right to modify rates or conditions without prior notice.
